Terms and Conditions
Welcome to forgeculture.store (the “Site”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access, browsing, and all orders placed on our website. Our warehouse and manufacturing facility are located in China. We ship internationally via UPS and DHL carriers. By accessing or ordering on this Site, you confirm that you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.
1. Age & Legal Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to place any order for edged sword products. When you submit an order, you warrant that:
- You are an adult of legal age;
- You are fully aware of local, state/provincial and national laws for import, possession, transport and ownership of swords / bladed weapons in your country, state, city or region;
- It is your sole responsibility to verify whether you may legally import and own our products before completing purchase. We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect violation of local weapon related legislation.
Our swords are intended exclusively for collection, home display, martial arts demonstration and lawful practice purposes. Any misuse for violent, harmful or illegal activities is strictly prohibited.
2. Product Information
All swords are hand forged handmade goods. Minor differences in colour, grain, texture, hamon lines and surface finish shall exist between individual items; these are not manufacturing defects. We make reasonable efforts for accurate photos, descriptions and pricing. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All displayed prices do NOT include import duties, customs taxes, brokerage fees or local VAT in destination countries. These charges are the purchaser’s obligation.
Custom configured katana and custom engraved items are custom made per customer request. Custom goods have special return restrictions specified in our Return & Refund Policy.
Order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of contract. We retain full rights to refuse, cancel or suspend any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing error, inventory shortage, or violation of destination country weapon laws.
3. Payment
You agree to pay all charges generated from your order including product value, shipping freight, and any applicable third party customs fees and taxes. Payment will be processed through authorised payment gateways on our checkout page.
4. Shipping & Risk of Loss
All goods are shipped from China by UPS or DHL. Risk of loss, damage or seizure transfers to buyer once the parcel is handed over to UPS / DHL carrier. Please refer to our independent Shipping Policy for full details.
5. Returns, Refunds
Please read our separate Return & Refund Policy document, which forms a binding part of these Terms. Custom engraved and fully custom built swords are non returnable except for proven manufacturing defects.
6. Intellectual Property
All texts, photographs, graphics, logos, product configurator layouts, and written content on forgeculture.store are our intellectual property. You shall not copy, reproduce, distribute or reuse our materials without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any injury, property damage, criminal penalty or legal consequence arising out of improper handling, misuse, illegal carrying or unlawful use of purchased swords. The buyer assumes all risks associated with possession, transport and use of bladed products. See also our Disclaimer document.
8. Modification of Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated text will be published on this page together with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued site usage after publication means you accept revised terms.
9. Governing Law & Dispute
These Terms are governed under the laws of People’s Republic of China. Any dispute shall first go through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction where our factory is located.
